Pearl’s absolute favorite thing to do was to eat and get snackies! Every morning, I shared my biscuit from @McDonalds. She either waited at the door for me or drove @jenniduncan crazy by pacing in the bedroom. She often got a sausage biscuit or hamburger just because she was Pearly Girl. Steak, pork chop or even leftover fruit were high on her list of fav snackies too.

Pearl the Wonder Weim
We rescued Pearl 10 years ago. Truth be told, she rescued @jenniduncan and me from a deep funk. Pearly Girl crossed over the Rainbow Bridge yesterday afternoon. She loved us and loved our people. She kept me company every day and made sure she spent time with both of us in our chairs in the evenings.
Pearl loved a car ride or to travel and spend the night in a hotel room. I think her fav thing besides eating was to snuggle one of us. She was a “velcro” dog for sure. We think her first few years of life were tough. Hopefully, the last 10 were everything she needed. Goodnight Pearly Girl…
Loved hearing @honza_galla from @azubrecumbents tell us about his cycle touring adventures for the past nearly 30 years. Sounded very cool, except for all the flat tires!

FedEx Saga
Hello again @invitae and @labcorp. I had a great support chat with @fedex a couple of days ago. When you shipped me the package, I received an email from FedEx telling me it would arrive on the 10th. Since chatting with them on the 17th, the package has moved a couple hundred miles. There are about 1,100 miles left to my house. Are we thinking a Halloween or Thanksgiving delivery date? Just trying to plan ahead to be home.

Hello @invitae and @labcorp. You have picked a fantastic logistics and delivery partner with @fedex ! You shipped a diagnostic test to me on August 7th. I’m less than 400 miles away from you. A full 10 days later, the package is still in California! I feel like for the amount I paid for the testing fee, it really should have been an Overnight or Second Day shipment. But 10 days and it is still on the far other side of the US seems a bit much, don’t you think? What are the chances the package is damaged since it needed to be relabeled too?
I’m probably going to want my money back. By the way, just two weeks ago @fedex delivered a heavy package for me to another address on my street. You all are killing it with your effectiveness!
