I’m not finished posting pics from London, but wanted to update my travels. I left London yesterday on the @eurostar to Paris. Other than a small delay due to an issue with the train, it was a great experience. Very comfortable, great service and a pretty smooth ride.

Things started to get bumpy on the arrival: First up, a military type presence with heavy artillery. I imagine the woman was thinking : he is compensating for something small. The plan was to take the Metro to my hotel, but @cloudflare deemed my iOS app use to be “suspicious activity and you should contact blah blah blah to get unblocked” There was a long line at the ticket machine, so I grabbed a cab to the hotel because it was getting late.

Just a note, I have always been a fan of @cloudflare, but they are making lots of news lately that leads me to believe they also may be trying to compensate for something. Hopefully, they take a second and listen to the public criticism from the tech community.

By the time I got to the hotel I was starving. Let’s just say it was a tough night given my autoimmune based food allergies. Breakfast couldn’t come soon enough.

Started the day on Bus 26 out of the Shoreditch High Street stop. Came home on Bus 344 which was a short walk from the Leake Street Arches area. I am always amazed how great the public transport works in London and really across the UK.
