“Sign, sign, everywhere a sign…. Do this, don’t do that. Can’t you read the sign?”
Taking your backpack off seems like common sense. I chuckle when I see a sign, because it means somebody “did it”. The one in toilets absolutely slay me: “Please don’t stand on the sink and pee across the room”. Sadly, that means somebody did it.
